This class offers techniques for answering a variety of questions using Gene, the core compendium of gene-based information produced by the National Center for Biotechnology Information. Hands-on examples during the class include using the advanced search feature to build complex queries, finding particular types of sequences associated with a gene, identifying gene variants, viewing gene expression data, and identifying homologs.
